Medical student Gabe Sobczak was awarded the American Otological Society Research Foundation Fellowship. This prestigious fellowship provides one-year of research funding for medical students, medical residents, or PhD candidates. Gabe will be investigating cortical representations of binaural hearing and spatial release from masking in normal hearing listeners and listeners with simulated single-sided deafness.
