Didulani Dantanarayana

Position title: Ph.D. Student

Didulani is a first-year doctoral student under the mentorship of Prof Ruth Litovsky. She received her B.Sc.(Hons) from the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka. Further, she completed Master of Applied Psychology at the Coventry University in the UK and Master of Audiology at the Flinders University, Australia. She received a Gold Medal for the highest GPA for her Bachelors degree and she is a recipient of the Australia Awards: Endeavour Postgraduate Scholarship from the Department of Education and Training of the Commonwealth of Australia. She has been working as a Lecturer and a Clinical Audiologist for 5 years at the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka. She has been involved in many research studies related to hearing science and pediatric developmental disabilities and she has published her studies in national and international conferences and in journals. Her research interests are examining listening effort in auditory processing, examining listening effort in individuals with hearing aids and cochlear implants, adaptation and validation studies to develop assessment tools relevant to audiology and conducting scoping reviews related to hearing science. Further, she enjoyed in teaching university students and developing community projects in audiology.
