I am currently a graduate student in the Audiology doctoral program. I have been in Dr. Litovsky’s lab since the fall of 2013. During my time as an undergraduate research assistant, I was awarded a Hilldale Fellowship for research on sound localization abilities and echo suppression in toddlers. Since then, I have helped with multiple projects including research focused on spatial release from masking and utilizing pupillometry measures to gain insight into listening effort. In the future I aspire to research the development of neurologic mechanisms used in sound localization as well as the impact listening effort has on cognitive load in complex listening environments. During the summer of 2016 I will be working on the development of a phoneme discrimination task for toddlers. My interests beyond my field of study include music production, percussion performance and snowboarding.
