I am currently a 4th year student in the Doctor of Audiology program at Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine. I am an audiology extern and LEND (Leadership in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities) trainee at the American Family Children’s Hospital and Waisman Center at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I received a B.F.A. in Music Theatre Performance from Viterbo University in 2009.

Before pursuing my doctorate in audiology, I worked as a student research assistant in the Binaural Hearing and Speech, and Vocal Tract Development Laboratories at the Waisman Center. In 2015, I was a research trainee in the Vanderbilt University NIH NIDCD-funded Short Term Research Training Program for AuD Students (T35) under the direction of Dr. René Gifford. My third year capstone project with Dr. Jill Firszt compared methods of evaluating horizontal plane localization in patients with unilateral hearing loss and patients with unilateral hearing loss who received a cochlear implant.
