I received a B.A. in Spanish studies and Speech/Language Hearing Sciences from the University of Minnesota in 2014. I am currently a third year graduate student in UW’s audiology program. Throughout my time in graduate school, I have developed an interest in binaural hearing and how impairments in the system can impact localization of sound. I am interested in studying auditory motion perception in individuals with bilateral cochlear implants through the binaural speech and hearing research lab. I would like to work with individuals with cochlear implants as an audiologist, so the opportunity to participate in the binaural hearing and speech lab’s research is very exciting. In my free time I enjoy yoga, concerts and volunteering around the community.
