Undergraduates will be paired with a mentor each semester, typically a doctoral student or Postdoctoral fellow. Under their mentorship, students will work with a variety of research measures including: cognitive testing, EEG, psychophysics and binaural hearing tasks. Furthermore, students may have the opportunity to co-produce poster presentations for symposiums with their mentor.
Lab Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Checking and tabulating data from cognitive assessments, listening measures, and EEG data.
- Assisting with data collection of listening measures, cognitive assessments, and EEG.
- Attending weekly lab meetings.
- Working with children and adults, participants with hearing loss, and participants with Down syndrome.
- Attending community outreach events.
