Tanvi Thakkar presented at the Madison HLAA meeting

Tanvi Thakkar is a 4th year PhD Candidate in the UW-Madison Communication Sciences & Disorders Department. She developed her interest in hearing science and cochlear implant research as a post-grad while she was a lab manager at the Auditory Perception and Modeling Lab at the University of Maryland.

Her current work is focused on how listeners combine different types of acoustic cues, both within and across the ears, in order to make decisions about where and how many sounds they hear On March 22nd, she had the opportunity to present at the Hearing Loss Association of America – Madison’s March chapter meeting.
