Undergraduate student Liberty Moore awarded Hilldale Research Fellowship

Liberty Moore, and undergraduate student in the BHSL, was awarded the Hilldale Undergraduate/Faculty Research Fellowship which gives undergraduate students the opportunity to undertake their own research with UW–Madison faculty. The proposed project is titled “Using optical imaging to investigate auditory attention in cochlear implant listeners with single-sided deafness,” and will investigate how these individuals distribute auditory attention to the two different inputs as well as the neural mechanisms of auditory attention and integration using functional-near infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS).
