I received my B.A. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where I am continuing my education as a Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) student. As an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Binaural Hearing and Speech Lab, I assisted in the project on auditory function, language, and cognition in young adults with Down syndrome. I’ve had the opportunity to continue to study auditory function in this population while working on my Au.D. capstone project in the lab, which explores sound localization in young adults with Down syndrome.
