I am currently an undergraduate student in the Communication Sciences and Disorders Program at UW-Madison, and I plan to attend graduate school for either Audiology or Speech Pathology in the fall of 2017. I have appreciated the opportunity to observe and participate in this lab beginning in the summer of 2015. During the fall of 2015, I worked with Keng Moua on his research of auditory motion perception in normal hearing listeners and bilateral cochlear implant users. I am very interested in working with cochlear implants or other amplification devices and am looking to pursue a career helping individuals with hearing loss. This lab has given me the chance to further my curiosity of bilateral cochlear implant research, and I am looking forward to learning more about the differences between how sounds are perceived in normal hearing listeners in comparison to bilateral cochlear implant users.
