I received my B.S. in the spring of 2014 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison where I triple majored in Biology, Spanish, and Communicative Sciences and Disorders. As an undergraduate, I was involved in research. I worked for several years at a primate research center helping with a study about iron deficiency anemia and learning outcomes in infant rhesus macaques. After discovering a passion for hearing science and deciding to become an audiologist, I began working at the BHSL in the summer of 2013.
Currently, I am a student in the doctorate of audiology program and work as a project assistant in the lab. I am interested in studying the emergence of binaural processing and listening effort in patients who have undergone corrective surgery for aural atresia.
