Ruth Litovsky, Ph.D., Director of the Binaural Hearing and Speech Lab and professor in Communication Sciences and Disorders, has been named a recipient of the 2018 University of Wisconsin Kellett Mid-Career Faculty Research Award. The Kellett award recognizes outstanding faculty seven to twenty years past their first promotion to a tenured position. The award honors faculty members who have made major contributions to the advancement of knowledge in their field, primarily through their research endeavors, but also as a result of their teaching and service activities. The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Graduate Education chooses winners from professors nominated by departments, Ph.D. major programs and interdepartmental groups. The award comes with $75,000 in flexible research funding. Congratulations, Dr. Litovsky, on receiving this major campus honor.
