Tanvi Thakkar, PhD student in the BHSL has been awarded the Emma Allen Fellowship Award from the CSD Department to support her participation in the 2018 Telluride Neuromorphic Cognition Engineering Workshop in Colorado this coming July. The workshop’s aim is “to bring the organizing principles of neural cognition into machine intelligence, and to use lessons and technology from machine intelligence to understand how brains work.” More information about the workshop can be found here.
