BHSL at 2026 Summer Special Olympics!

The Binaural Hearing and Speech Lab volunteered the 2026 State Summer Olympics at University Wisconsin- White Water. We had the lovely opportunity to meet and participate with the amazing athletes who competed this year!

Our Research Specialists Stephanie Selner and Eva Walsh were able to volunteer as referees for the Cornhole competition, while our audiologists Shelly Godar and Didulani Dantanarayana helped at the Hear Wisconsin Van, providing hearing screenings and referrals to athletes.

We also at the Special Olympics Victory Village tabling event, where we were able to connect with inspiring athletes and give out prizes. Congratulations to all the wonderful athletes at the games this summer, and we look forward volunteering more in the future!
